Covid-19 Measures in Effect

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, all levels of government and health agencies recommend social distancing, and the adoption of strict measures by business owners to prevent the spread of the infection.

On June 1st 2020, Paskapoo Pet Services has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (The Paskapoo Pet Services COVID-19 Operation Plan).

At this moment in time, all clients of Paskapoo Pet Services are required to read and sign our Covid-19 Liability Waiver before resuming services.

Under the current circumstances, some of our Policies have been modified to suit this difficult situation better. As part of our preventive measures, all our staff are now wearing masks and shoe covers during visits, and using generous amounts of hand sanitizer before, during and after each visit. Our staff is also required to self-assess every day and self-isolate if they have Covid-19 like symptoms.

In response to the wide-spread of Covid-19 within our community, initial consultations with new clients for pet sitting and dog walking will be performed online (Zoom or Google Meets) until further notice. There is no cost associated with the initial consultation.

As of April of 2021, everyone working for the Paskapoo Team has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. We hope to be fully immunized by the end of the summer of 2021.
